New Solar Glass Roof Tiles



Solar glass roofing technology is the newest product role out by Elon Musk and his company Solarcity that will work in conjunction with Tesla's Powerwall system. The glass tile shingles are efficient, durable, and can be custom designed to work in harsh snow condition climates with built in defrosters that can be embedded into the glass.







Another great feature because the tiles are glass they can look opaque at the human angle of view at ground level, but at bird's-eye view they become translucent to allow embedded solar panels to absorb the suns rays.

I was recently reading an article from the September issue of 1956 House and Home and was astounded to see an interesting FLLW article with tips for the average home builder. As I was reading through the article I was realizing that those tips and advise were still just as pertinent today as it was in 1956.
