Man Made Wave


Surfing is a broad reaching sport that now expands around the reaches of the globe to nearly every coastline where wave conditions are ideal for the rider. The endeavor for the perfect wave has brought man to develop machines that can now create an infinite ideal wave that happens inland of the coastline. World renown surfer Kelly Slater has developed the technology to design the wave with the Kelly Slater Wave Company.

Where does it go from here you ask? Well the rumor is that the next step is to develop this technology for a donut shaped wave pool.

I was recently reading an article from the September issue of 1956 House and Home and was astounded to see an interesting FLLW article with tips for the average home builder. As I was reading through the article I was realizing that those tips and advise were still just as pertinent today as it was in 1956.
