Elon Musk Billionaire, Innovator, and Visionary




Elon Musk is a truly inspirational visionary that has taken on many substantial business challenges and managed to succeed. During the Ted Talk towards the end Elon explains his reasoning and ability to do what others have not done in the same fields. I believe that his reasoning is also applicable to design in Architecture when he says the following:

"I do think there is a good framework for thinking is Physics, you know the first principle is reasoning. What I mean by that is that boil things down to there fundamental truths and reason up from there, as opposed to reasoning by analogy. Through most of our life we get through life by reasoning by analogy. Which means kinda copying what other people do by slight innovations...

When you want to do something new you have to apply the physics approach. Physics has figured out how to discover new things that are counter intuitive, like quantum mechanics... Also really pay attention to negative feed back, and solicite it particularly from friends this may sound like simple advise, but hardly anyone does that and its incredibly helpful."





Ambitious are his plans for Space X, as the company embarks on plans to take people for the price of $500,000 roundtrip ticket to Mars.

I was recently reading an article from the September issue of 1956 House and Home and was astounded to see an interesting FLLW article with tips for the average home builder. As I was reading through the article I was realizing that those tips and advise were still just as pertinent today as it was in 1956.
