Fractal branching patterns are some of the most common patterns we see in trees all around us, but did you know these same branching patterns occur in our lungs? It seems like we are glimpsing into the creator's realm when we start looking into the fractal patterns in nature and the mathematician formulas that have been discovered to describe some fractal patterning. This video does a good dive into what we know about fractal geometry. Related Articles: Quasi-Crystalline Pattern Voronoi Structures in Nature Kumiko Pattern

Fast Concrete Countertop Build

Image
From this DYI youtuber Michael Builds he walks you through fabricating a concrete countertop in 1-hour using the inverted cast method. His choice concrete material is Rapid Set Mortar Mix because it will harden up in 1 hour and can be bought at local Depot. In addition to this mix, he also uses a concrete additive called Rapid Set Flow Control . This additive really allows the concrete to become liquid and therefore easier to pour into mold. In addition, he also sprinkles a sanded tile grout with a stencil on the mold this provides a finished embedded design into the concrete.
